The Shpak Family
Hope for Shannon
We are Ron and Shannon Shpak, married 14 years and have 5 children: Noah(10), Asher(8), Lily(5), Isaac(3) and Ethan(1). Our youngest son, Ethan, has Down Syndrome and was adopted in the US via the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network. We both always knew we would adopt. Ron worked as a volunteer with the Special Olympics for years and Shannon as a Special Education teacher. We both felt called to Down Syndrome. "And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God" – Micah 6:8
After years of praying about an international Down Syndrome adoption, we have decided to follow God's call with reckless abandon. We were led to "Shannon" and know without a doubt, this beautiful little girl is the missing piece of our family. Completely trusting in the hand of God and taking it one day at a time, we will go above and beyond to bring her home where she belongs. Unfortunately, in Shannon's country, children with Down Syndrome and other special needs, are transferred to a mental institution somewhere after their 3rd birthday. Shannon has Down Syndrome and at 4.5 she has already been transferred. Time is running out... please follow our story at: http://faithsetfree.blogspot.com
Our hope is to advocate for Shannon through these t-shirts. In addition to promoting her story, part of the proceeds will go directly to help bring her home.
Size and positioning of design on shirt may vary.
