Written by Tracey Albrecht who carries multiple “mom” titles: biological mom, stepmom, foster mom, and adoptive mom. She could talk for hours about fostering seven children, raising two birth children and three stepchildren, the paradox of emotions, experiences, and God’s hand on their lives as well as their children’s lives. Tracey has seen firsthand the messy, tragic, unknown, and beautiful foster care and adoption path and wants children to see the love so many in their lives and community have for them. She doesn’t want them to feel alone. Tracey also wants to inspire other potential foster parents or caregivers to step into the role they could be called into and provide protection and a voice to the children who don’t have one in the system.
